Study on the Economic Impact of Recycling
HB 2763/ SB 1067 Related to a study of the current and potential economic impacts of recycling. Filed on March 10, 2015 by Representative Ed Thompson (HB) and Senator Jose Rodriguez (SB) in the 84th Legislature. HB 2763 effective immediately as of June 17, 2015.

Update on Requests for Authorization for Disposal of Special Waste (SWR)
Mechanism for Authorization for Disposal of Special Waste The generator may submit a Request for Authorization to the MSW Permits Section The generator may request approval to dispose a special waste directly from an MSW landfill facility that has an approved Special Waste Acceptance Plan (SWAP)
