2. Summary of TF8 Meeting
Mr Tan chaired the face to face meeting at 15:30~17:00,June 15.
In the meeting, TF leader presented 3 documents “EVSTF-08-30e” ，“EVSTF-08-32e” and ”EVSTF-08-34e”;
“EVSTF-08-30e” shows the rationales and justifications for adding the heavy duty vechcles content into the EVS-GTR;
“EVSTF-08-32e” shows the draft modification scheme that it adds the HD vehicles requirements and tests into the main body of EVS-GTR;
“EVSTF-08-34e”shows the scheme of drafting the HD vehicles` part as a separate part of EVS-GTR.

3. Summary of TF8 Meeting Key points discussed in this meeting
TF members discussed on the form of drafting HD vehicles content. All the members agreed to drafting the HD vehicles content as a seperate chapter in the EVS-GTR main document or as the Annex of the EVS-GTR.
Mr Tan, as the leader of TF8, strongly supported China’s opinion of drafting the heavy duty vehicles content as a seperate chapter in the EVS-GTR main document, for the consideration of the same significance of the HD vehicles safety compared with the passenger vehicles.

4. Summary of TF8 Meeting
TF8 leader presented the comparison between OICA and China, it shows only small part of the requirements and test procedures are different. TF members had a discussion on these items and all the members agreed to have more communications on these distinct items before the next EVS meeting.
whether regard the HD vehicles part as an CP option or not, that still remains as an open issue.But this part must
be the same effective as the passenger vehicles part.

5. Planning of TF8
Do more works on modification of TF8 proposal draft before the 12th EVS meeting.
Modify the editorial matters in the draft to keep aligned to the passenger parts of the EVS-GTR;
Do more communications on the distinct items in the draft to catch an agreement on those and complete drafting the heavy duty vehicles` content better.
