Quadratic Equations Definitions:
A quadratic equation is an equation of the form ax2 + bx + c = 0 where a, b, and c are real numbers and a ≠ 0. Zero-Product Property: AB = 0 if and only if A = 0 or B = 0 .

Discriminant (D = b2 - 4ac) - the value that
Discriminant (D = b2 - 4ac) - the value that determines the types of solutions in a quadratic equation. If D > 0, then the equation has 2 distinct real solutions. If D = 0, then the equation has 1 real solution (double root). If D < 0, then the equation has no real solutions (2 imaginary solutions).
