Survey Action Planning: Performance Culture Assessment
February 2016 Update (status: m-not started, u-underway/ongoing, n-complete) Implement leadership development journey - u Hardwire rounding for outcomes - u Implement recruitment initiative to fill vacancies (outsourced Nurse recruitment firm) - n Modify staffing model to improve bedside care (hiring of more PCTs to supplement nurses) – u Invest in new equipment, facility upgrades; replace signage with new logo- u Managing facilities Introduce Living Our Mission measures - u Create unit-specific PCA (employee survey) action plans with input from coworkers - n Develop programs to provide extra support to co-workers most in need (training and development, etc.) - u Building trust Create new “OneSpirit” communications platform - n Set system schedule for Leadership and Coworker Forums - n Encourage participation in “Healthy Spirit” to build a stronger culture of wellness - u Schedule senior leadership participation in departmental staff meetings - u Improving communication Celebrate milestones timely - u Encourage thank you notes (especially to homes) - u Create system team, “Praise and Celebrations,” to build upon existing recognition strategies, create new nomination tools, and generate stories of achievement – u Improving recognition
