13
MOIMS DAI WG Executive Summary (2)
Problems and Issues: The real work of the DAI WG is not well understood by the space agencies, hence the space agencies are faltering in their support. DAI WG needs an expression of commitment from the CMC because the external (ISO) community has expressed concern that the CCSDS space agencies will not fully support their needs (because of 1). DAI WG has a new long-range notional plan, and we seek CMC notional approval (understanding that project approvals will come much later) Proposed CMC resolution on DAI Considering that the Data Archive and Ingestion (DAI) work has significant support from the ISO community and that the DAI work covers important topics relevant for the space community such as archiving and long term data preservation of space mission data, the CMC confirms their support to DAI.

MOIMS Issues for CESG / CMC
MOIMS and its WGs would like to thank ASI for the excellent organisation of the workshop Issue 1: CMC to confirm CCSDS support to DAI (see proposed resolution) Issue 2: SM&C WG coordination needed on 1) Timing Services; 2) File Management Services; 3) Events definition and services; 4) SOIS EDS Issue 3: With the growing international interest in cooperative exploration missions, it seems anachronistic to stop the CCSDS work on Telerobotic Services. CCSDS should capitalise on currently declared interest by ESA/ESTEC and DLR to continue JAXA is interested, resources being identified. Possible issues getting resources allocated / schedule.

SLS Comments to RID System Pre Requirements
R5.2 - The RID system shall have an export function (e.g. to Excel, Winword): Exporting to WinWord should produce a document with RIDs in the standard CCSDS format (i.e. the one distributed as txt file on the review web page). Entering RIDs: The system shall allow some kind of "rich text" editing (e.g. change color, highlight) for input of RIDs. Even if the form From-To is used, this is very useful to remark the actual changes in (long) statements JAXA is interested, resources being identified. Possible issues getting resources allocated / schedule.

SEA Planned Resolution Summary
SAWG Working Group: Resolution 1: SEA-R Request CMC approval of SEA Application & Support Architecture Green Book project D-DOR Working Group: Resolution 1: Request approval to publish D-DOR Operation in Nov/Dec 2016 Resolution 2: Expect request to publish Quasar Catalog in Jan/Feb 2017 SANA Steering group: Resolution 1: Propose adoption now of the new Contacts and Organizations registries Resolution 2: Request the agencies to update their information in these Contacts and Organizations registries, some of it is very out of date Resolution 3: Request that the IOAG add an explicit, unique, OID to each of the RF assets that they register. We can then unambiguously connect the IOAG info to the CCSDS Sites & Apertures database info. JAXA is interested, resources being identified. Possible issues getting resources allocated / schedule.

SEA Issues for CESG / CMC
For SAWG Application and Support Architecture there is a potential issue in that SOIS has been a moving target, resource & timing impacts Issue 2: For SANA, Type 2 SCIDs are exhausted, we have started re-use, must get new SCIDs in place Issue 3: For SANA, Recommend adoption of new Contacts and Organization registries now, but need agency members and IOAG to correct their information sets which are out of date or have a lot of errors Issue 4: XML Standards and Guidelines (XSG) SIG has no resources and no meeting. The shoemaker’s children are barefoot. Issue 5: Timeline BoF has been closed, archive the charter & projects JAXA is interested, resources being identified. Possible issues getting resources allocated / schedule.
