The dangers of prophetic and apocalyptic speculation Matthew 24: Don’t engage in date setting.

4. What we Believe Matters
Who we are?- Genesis 1:27 John 3:16
Whose we are? I John 3: I Corinthians 6:19,20 -not your own Romans 8:38-39 Nothing can separate us
Where we came from? Colossians 1: John 1:3 He created us all.
Where we are going? II Corinthians 5:9-10

5. This Jesus is Coming Again
Eye witness testimony- John 1:1-3 Seen and touched so that you may believe and live!
Because Jesus lives we also live- John 14: John 6:40 I will raise them up Ephesians 2:5-6 Raised with Christ
Christ now is at the right hand of the Father Ephesians 1:20 Mark 16: All authority- Matthew 28:18
He’s coming to judge the living and the dead and all will see it. II Corinthians 5:10

6. The Promise?
Power- Holy Spirit power-v.8 – Boldness Acts 2:14 They’d been with Jesus!
My witnesses- Luke 12: What shall I say? Galatians 5:22-23
Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and the ends of the earth!
