1. Service Learning Pitch

2. Idea
During the Christmas Season we will help the less fortunate in our community.
We will make 3 giant stockings: 1 for men, 1 for women, and 1 for kids.
Each stocking will be filled with socks because at a lot of the shelters they have excess clothes but not enough socks.
We will make and stuff the stockings on a block day of Mr. Castello’s choice.

3. Idea (Cont.)
In each pair of rolled up socks, will be toiletries necessary for the men , women and children. Deodorant for the men, Lotion or lip balm for the women, and toothbrushes for the children.
Right before Christmas Rush (right before Christmas comes, when all the families come for there food supplies Dec ) I will personally take the three stockings to the Nursery and ask them to display the stockings during the rush.

4. I Need Your Help!!
In order to accomplish this mission I will need the all three of the following items from each student:
Deodorant Stick approx. 2$
Lotion or Lip Balm approx. 2$
Toothbrush approx. 1$
3 pairs of socks approx. 4-5 $
If anyone has any felt and yarn please bring that and all other items listed by Oct. 30
A miniscule amount of 9 to 10 dollars will help families who don’t have as much as you. We are all blessed people on this planet. Share the wealth.
