Out of School Time Grants awarded in 2015 and 2016 helped us….. 1. Commit to Health of over 50 recreation centers as recommended by Alliance for a Healthier Generation 2. Provide Nutrition Literacy programs (Organwise Guys, MyPlate, Wisercise) for out of school programs Summer Camps - up 14 camps visited once/twice a week for 7 weeks. Tiny Steps (3 sites) & Y360 (7 sites) – once a week visits for 9 months Kids In the Kitchen (2 sites)- once a week for 9 months 3. Purchase Commercial Refrigerators (9) and Food Warmers (15) to support USDA Food storage at designated facilities 4. Provide supplies to create a new community garden 5. Provide 4 Cooking Matters at the Store Pop Up Tours for Adults NRPA Conference, Sept 26, 2017 Commit to Health: Walking the Talk

Today 2017, the following programs continues …. 1. Commitment to Health - in partnership with Alliance for a Healthier Generation, New Orleans branch 2. Nutrition Literacy Program in Summer Camps - revamped structure, trained camp staff to help implement, reduced NL staff visits Y360 – revamped and trained afterschool staff to implement Kids In the Kitchen (2-3 sites) 3. Cooking Matters at the Store will resume late 2017 or early 2018. NRPA Conference, Sept 26, 2017 Commit to Health: Walking the Talk
