1 PPAC 2017

2 Step 1: Have official transcripts from schools other than Auburn sent to PPAC by 1/13/2017 and get copies for yourself. Mailing Address: PPAC 239 Sciences Center Classrooms 315 Roosevelt Concourse Auburn, AL 36849

3 Step 2: Look for email confirmation from Ms
Step 2: Look for confirmation from Ms. Laura Walker regarding receipt of the non-Auburn transfer transcripts.

4 Step 3: Complete and submit a PPAC Registration Form at the first PPAC Meeting on 1/17/2017 in the Sciences Center Auditorium at 6:00 p.m. Deadline to submit a PPAC Registration Form: 1/31/2017

5 Step 4: Complete the PPAC Resume using the directions provided with the file.
Note: You will receive a copy of the PPAC Resume and directions after PPAC receives all official transfer transcripts and the PPAC Registration Form.

6 Step 5: Submit the PPAC Resume in 239 SCC, beginning on 1/30/2017, using the schedule shown in the PPAC Checklist. Note: Do this early so you can schedule your appointment with Mrs. Childress sooner! Deadline to submit a PPAC Resume: 2/24/17

7 Step 6: Pick up PPAC evaluation materials from Ms
Step 6: Pick up PPAC evaluation materials from Ms. Walker in 239 SCC when she contacts you.

8 Step 7: Schedule your interview with Ms
Step 7: Schedule your interview with Ms. Childress as soon as you get your PPAC materials from Ms. Walker.

9 Step 8: Attend PPAC Meeting 2 on 2/28/2017 in SCA at 6:00 p.m.

10 Step 9: Schedule your interview with your assigned AU PPAC evaluator using the directions you received from Ms. Walker.

11 Step 10: Schedule and complete 3 other interviews (4 if applying to DO and MD schools since you must have letters from a DO and an MD you have shadowed if applying to DO and MD schools).

12 Remaining letters should come from professors who have taught you (at least one from a biology, chemistry, physics or mathematics professor), someone from your major department, or a professor who has supervised your research. Ask people who can describe personal qualities you possess or who have observed you in a variety of settings.

13 Step 11: Ensure each evaluator returns the original PPAC evaluation form and a one-page signed letter on letterhead directly to PPAC in a timely manner.

14 Priority Deadline to Complete PPAC: 7/1/2017
A complete folder must include all required PPAC evaluation forms and letters, all test scores including the final set for this application cycle and processed copies of all primary applications.

15 Step 12: When all required materials are in your folder, committee review, which can take 8 weeks, will begin. Files are reviewed according to the completion date on the folder except for Early Decision Applicant files which are reviewed first if they were complete as of July 1.

16 Step 13: After committee review, you will receive a PPAC Letter Request Form via email.
Return that form promptly so your letters can be uploaded to the application services and the schools to which you applied.

17 Use the resources available from professional associations.
