2. Sing your HEART
Hey Handsworth!! In honour of anti-bullying week the volunteer U Club is hosting an event called “Sing your Heart” on Monday at lunch in the cafeteria. This is a karaoke session in effortas to create empowerment and build positivity within our school. All students & Staff are welcome! Sign up todayt in the cafeteria (as solo or as a group) See you Monday!

4. Attention all prospective badminton players
To all prospective Badminton players, please listen closely for tryout times. This Wednesday, Mar.1st Senior tryouts will be held from 4pm to 6pm. On Friday March 3rd Junior girls tryouts will be at 6pm and Junior Boys will be at 7:30pm. Tryouts will be held in the LARGE GYM. See you there!

5. ATTENTION GRADS!!!
GRAD WRITE UPS & BABY PICTURES Grad Write ups for inclusion in the 2017 Yearbook are due by Friday, March 10th. There will be NO exceptions for late submissions. Maximum 400 characters (not 400 words) including letters, numbers and spaces. English or French only. No abbreviations – full words only. You will not have the privilege of having a write up if you submit any content that is not school appropriate. Have someone proof read it! This will be in print forever! BABY PHOTOS Submit a good quality image for inclusion in the yearbook. Submit a close-up baby picture – not a full-body shot, as the picture will be very small. Submit your write up and baby photo TOGETHER to: with your first and last name in the subject line. Again, NO late submissions will be accepted!! DO IT NOW!! 6. Congratulations to our senior boys basketball team who won the Howe sound tournament in a sudden death final for the north shore banner. They now head to provincials. Good luck boys! Also a shout out to those who attended the games last week – you exhibited awesome school spirit all week! Good luck in provincials boys! Go royals!!
