The following scenarios are representative of situations, which may occur, in the training environment. The instructor should select a cross section most relevant to the target audience. This can be conducted in a number of ways. The scenarios can be presented to the class on flipchart / PPT / or on cards. The instructor can either: Discuss the scenarios with the class as a whole. Allocate scenarios to each syndicate allowing discussion time. The findings can then be presented to the rest of the group. The instructor can then facilitate the outcomes and any further discussion generated by the group. All of the above are only examples of some of the situations an instructor may be faced with. The solutions are suggested answers, which could be applied. The effectiveness of the solutions will depend on the instructional style & how each situation is handled. Syndicate Exercise 18
