Activities SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER: FIELDS Comprehensive Performance Test
Outline Provided to Team for Comment (only 1 received). Scripts Developed and Run on EM, some have run on FM Approximately 70 pages in 29 files Recent examination of requirements says we need more tests added. FIELDS1 control of FIELDS2 MAG2/AEB2 ok Numerous Software & Database Deficiencies Recorded (e.g DFB Modes) No Hardware Issues Found No FIELDS2 standalone testing done. This is UMN responsibility. Bottom Line: As it is currently configured, FIELDS does not meet all functional requirements.

Activities Need to have 3D E-field measurements, not 2D measurements.

Activities OCTOBER/NOVEMBER: DCB FSW Comprehensive Performance Test
Scripts Developed and Run on EM Approximately 270 pages in 85 files Fully Automated Test running about 90 mins Full Set of EEPROM Tables Required Developed Loading Scripts for all Look Up Tables Numerous Software Issues Corrected, such as the MAG Triangle Filter calculation time. DCB FSW Long Duration Stress Test Ready for the 72 Hour run when EM available

Survey TM Rate >> Allowed MAGi data being sent to FIELDS1 not to S/C SAFE() didn’t stop scripts 100 bps data ON in Playback ATS is enabled too soon after turn on. LNPS1 3.5V too high V5 Temp way too high* RFS averaging at 9 spectra not yet 90 ATS & RTS need more EEPROM allocation *: V5 is not attached to MEP

Needed a Reasonably Full Set of RTS for CPT Developed tool to build and load a set of RTS (RTS_BUILD_V1.py) Absolute Time Sequence (ATS) Needed a Prototype of an ATS which demonstrated FSW functionality Developed tool to build and load an ATS (ATS_BUILD_V1.py) Developed a smarter tool (ATS_BUILD_V2) Limit Monitoring (LMT) Needed a Prototype of an Limit Monitor Database Developed tool to build and load an LMT (LMT_BUILD_V1.py) CBS Weights and Thresholds (CBS) Needed a Prototype of a Database Developed tool to build and load a CBS (CBS_BUILD_V1.py)
