In Cheeky Monkeys we will focus our learning around lots of different songs and rhymes!

2. Homework
This half term we would like the children to make something related to their favourite nursery rhyme. This could be a poster, a model, a video, book, paper mache… the choice is yours!
Please bring these in by Friday 9th December.

3. Visits

We will be visiting the library this half term on so that the children can take out a book of their choice.
Christmas craft afternoon on Thursday 15th December

4. Maths
Our learning will focus on counting, numbers, shapes and simple measures.
Literacy
During their time in nursery, the Cheeky Monkeys are challenged to use their speaking and listening skills in lots of different ways, through phonics, circle time and Rainbow Talk, where we think about our senses.
This term we will be linking literacy to our theme, and will share lots of songs and stories.

6. Reminders Read your books online with your own ID and password
Books bags need to be in school every day
Money must come into school in an envelope or a sealed bag
Daily phonics to help learn new sounds and key words
Please ensure you read all letters. Spare copies will be in your child’s classroom
Please label your children's belongings including, coats, bags, hats, gloves and lunch boxes
