Phonological and Phonemic Awareness (rhyme; initial, middle and final sounds; segmenting and blending sounds)
Phonics (letter knowledge, alphabetic decoding, spelling)
Vocabulary (academic words in the language)
Comprehension (listening/language comprehension, reading comprehension)
Fluency (accuracy and rate, monitoring for comprehension)
ISIP- Istation’s indicators of Progress (first monthly test)
Benchmarks: September, January, may
Progress monitoring for tiers 2 and 3: Oct, nov, dec, feb, march, april
On-demand testing-
only used during progress monitoring months if progress monitoring more than 1x/month

How ISIP Early Reading Works: ISIP Early Reading is adaptive at the item level, but also adapts at the subtest level. The assessment will bring in higher or lower subtests on the reading continuum to find the students’ ability level, so teachers can better meet the needs of their students.
