Procedure To illustrate the “Empty Calorie” concept, I will make our own homemade soda 10 ounces of carbonated water Tablespoon of High Fructose corn syrup Caramel color, caffeine, and Phosphoric acid will be left out 40 grams of sugar = 20 cubes Stir There are about 10 teaspoons of sugar in a 12-ounce can of most sodas!
