3 Frame We will analyze how anger can be managed through controlled body language. EQ: What are some examples of physiological signs or symptoms that individuals experience when they get angry? I will complete a handout on how my body language can help to control my anger.

An activity used to lighten the mood and or get participants warmed up to the idea of interaction.

What is “Body Language?” How do people act when they get angry? What types of body language do people display that tells us that they are angry?

What are examples of positive body language? What are examples of negative body language? What types of body language should you use in different situations -Job interview? -Meeting new people? -Being pulled over by a police officer?

12 Definition of Body Language
According to Merriam Webster’s Online Dictionary: the gestures, movements, and mannerisms by which a person or animal communicates with others Example: We could tell by his body language that he was nervous.

13 Reasons people should be aware of their body language…
You are often judged by how you present yourself. Others may be picked for jobs/teams/positions first if you are perceived as a weak link.

14 Reasons people should be aware of their body language…
Angry people are liabilities in the workplace, on teams and in various other groups. Anger is a natural emotion yet when not handled properly, it is perceived as weakness and or a sign of immaturity.

What was the most important part of the lesson? If you could change one thing about how you react to situations that make you angry, what would it be? Will this information benefit you in the future?
