In the exam you may be given stimulus material to explain using the concepts and ideas from the Biological Approach. Make sure you know how to APPLY theories and studies to real life situations. Eddo up to the age of two was a good child, not really any trouble for his parents and fun to be with. At around the age of two years, he began to show much less willingness to share toys and became very aggressive if another child tried to take a toy he was playing with. He also became angry when something did not work or when he wanted something and it was not given. This was new to his parents. He would still play with them happily, eat his food and enjoy going out on trips. They tried to reason with him to stop his aggression and they tried to reward him for non-aggressive behaviour when playing with other children, but nothing worked. His tantrums remained. Using concepts and theories from the biological approach, explain Endo’s aggression and whether he is responsible for it. (8)
