LIBRARY HOURS OF OPERATION
The library is open most school days from 12:00p.m. to 5:00p.m. Study Hall is held from 3:00p.m. to 5:00p.m.

ACCELERATED READER PROGRAM
Accelerated Reader is a program used in our school. Students can determine their reading level by looking at the colored dot on the spine label of the books.

LOST OR DAMAGEED BOOKS Please do not lose or damage a book. The average cost for a lost or damaged book is $ There is a replacement cost charge for all damaged or lost books. Remember to take good care of your library books.

LIBRARY RULES Walk and use a quiet voice.
Treat others with respect and kindness. Take good care of all library materials and equipment.

LIBRARY RULES If a library books gets torn or falls apart, bring it back to the library. We will fix it. No food or drink in the library. Take turns using the computer equipment.

CIRCULATION To check out a book, come to the circulation desk.
You may check out a book for three weeks. You may check out two books at a time. If you have an overdue book, you will not be allowed to check out another until the book is returned. To return a book, hand the book to the librarian or set it on the circulation desk by the checkin sign.

WHY SHOULD YOU GO TO THE LIBRARY?
A 2005 Illinois School Libraries shows that students who often visit the better-stocked and better-staffed libraries have higher ACT, reading, and writing scores versus those who don't. Further proof that libraries can help to make you smarter! (
