Jo Ann Dysart Jo Ann spent 30 years as a high school teacher in Oklahoma and Texas. Her certification areas are business, English, and reading. She is also vocationally and CareerTech certified and taught at Oklahoma CareerTech centers, both full time and as an adjunct evening instructor. In May 2002 she accepted a position with the University of Oklahoma Outreach, Center for Independent and Distance Learning Department (CIDL) as a high school business teacher. In the right place at the right time, in June 2005 she accepted the position as project director of the high school Invest Ed® program sponsored by the Oklahoma Securities Commission. As a high school teacher and Invest Ed® staff, Jo Ann’s motivation is and always has been to meet students’ needs. Jo Ann does volunteer work thru her church and at a horse farm in the community. She enjoys gardening, cooking, and spoiling her granddaughter.

Irving L. Faught Irving is the Administrator of the Oklahoma Securities Commission. Prior to taking that position, he was a partner with Andrews Davis Legg Bixler Milsten & Price, in Oklahoma City, concentrating in securities and corporate law. He received his law degree from the University of Virginia School Of Law, a Bachelor of Arts in Letters from the University of Oklahoma, and Columbia University. Irving is an Adjunct Professor of Law, University of Oklahoma College of Law and the Oklahoma City University College of Law. He is a Certified Fraud Examiner and a member of The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. He is a retired member of the U.S. Naval Reserve (LCDR – JAG). Irving is a Trustee of the Investor Protection Trust, a national organization dedicated to financial and investor education. Irving is the voting member for the state of Oklahoma for the North American Securities Administrators Association and serves on the standing Legal Services Committee.

Matthew Ingram Matt Ingram is a Lecturer of Finance at Wright State University. Originally from Tallahassee, Florida, Matt received a BA in Economics from the University of Florida and a MA in Economics from the University of South Florida. He has published his research in the Journal of Banking and Finance and the Journal of Comparative Policy Analysis. Matt is also a Financial Risk Manager — certified by the Global Association of Risk Professionals. In addition to his academic work, he has worked as a subject matter expert for InvestEd since 2009 and also for The American College in developing its Certified Financial Analyst curriculum. Matt and his wife have three daughters, and they currently reside in Centerville, Ohio.

Jennifer Shaw Jennifer is an attorney with the Oklahoma Department of Securities. She joined the Department in 2003 as an intern. After passing the bar exam in 2005 she started working in her current role. Jennifer became involved with the Invest Ed® program in 2006. Jennifer graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 2001 with a degree in Accounting. She received her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in She was Assistant Managing Editor and Note Editor of the American Indian Law Review. Jennifer is a member of the Elder Outreach Project Group for the National Association of Securities Administrators and actively involved in the Department’s outreach efforts with the Investor Protection Trust. Jennifer has volunteered as the education director for Oklahoma Girls State for thirteen years.
