The US House has 435 members representing roughly 700. 000 people each
The US House has 435 members representing roughly people each. They serve two year terms and all were elected in 2010 and will be up for reelection in 2012. Click here for my Representative Each state gets at least 1 representative, California currently has the most with 53. The National Executive Branch is led by the President, V. P
The National Executive Branch is led by the President, V.P. and cabinet. The President and Vice President are elected to 4 year terms (max. two terms). The National Judicial Branch is headed by the US Supreme Court with nine justices appointed by the President with advice and consent of the US Senate. They serve life terms. The Michigan Judicial Branch
The Michigan Supreme Court has seven Justices elected by the entire state to eight year staggered terms. The court is located in Lansing near the State Capital building. Below the Supreme Court are four Court of Appeals districts (we live in the third) and the county circuit courts (Kent County 17th circuit) and many cities also have district courts.
