Roaming Expert Working Group (REWG)
REWG was established and its ToR was approved at the 7th EaPeReg Plenary Assembly (8 April 2016, Latvia)
Main aims
looking for techniques and measures, which would serve for the establishment of international common roaming space within the eastern European Partners
elaborate regulatory platform for sharing best practices and expertise
cooperate and assist among members to compare and improve the national EaPeReg Members regulations in the alignment of national and international roaming markets
discuss challenges for EaP and EU Member States’ markets related to regulatory framework
Main objectives
NCCIR was initiator of REWG establishment
development of techniques and possible measures for a “common” approach to roaming pricing
recommendations on drafting amendments to national legislations
recommendations how to harmonize national legislations of EaP and to align national legislation with the EU common legal space in regulation of roaming services
Expected outputs
REWG is chaired by Ukraine (NCCIR), Vice-Chair – Lithuania (RRT)
