Interpretation Perhaps the world ends here
The poets message in this poem is that in all your life you always will gather back to the dinner table because you have to eat to live, and that the meaning of life is to share stories with your loved ones until your final breathe. The title of the poem is about a physiological event like the world ending but when you read it, it has a different kind of meaning. The poem is written about how important spending time with your family is. The narrator or the poem is the poet because its his thoughts. This poem to us just means about how spend time with your family before you die and that no matter what the circumstances are food always brings people together
