Negotiations Update Ttes SFN GCC are in joint Exploratory Discussions with Canada with the goal to Settle the Day Scholar Certified Class Action May 24, 2016 a joint meeting was held with Minister Bennett, TteS, SFN and James Bay Cree The purpose was to initiate discussions for negotiating a resolution At that meeting TteS-SFN-JBC requested that Minister Bennett appoint an MSR-Ministerial Special Representative. Sept 2017 Minister Bennett appointed a MSR, to date we have been meeting on a regular basis with the intent to resolve the day scholar issue and reach a settlement. To date Minister Bennett has agreed to meet with the TteS SFN & JBC to discuss a Agreement in Principal in August 2017. Ttes SFN & JBC are fully prepared to advance our Certified Day Scholar Class Action and obtain a Fair & Just Settlement for the three classes: Survivors- Descendants & the 100 Band Class members.

Going Forward Continue to hope that Minister Bennett will honor the promise to resolve the day scholar class action in a expedient manner & move toward full negotiations. Recognize that time is of the essence. Ttes SFN & JBC will proceed with litigation if negotiations continue to stall. In the process of working with our expert and Canada to determine size of Survivor and Descendant class
