Sequences and Series when Given Two Terms and Not Given a1
Essential Question: How do you use a system of equations to find the rule for a sequence? Demonstrated in writing a summary describing the process by which systems of equations can be used to find the rule for a sequence.

Example 1: Find the first five terms of the arithmetic sequence with a9 = 55 and a15 = 91.

Example 2: Find the first five terms of the arithmetic sequence with a6 = 20 and a12 = -34.

Example 3: Find the nth term of the geometric sequence a6 = 243, a8 = 2187, n = 10

The second term of a geometric sequence is -18, and the fifth term is 2/3. Find the sixth term.
