Homework Mr Brennan Weekly homework tasks will include:
· SPAG will be set on a Tuesday · Reading comprehension will be set on Monday · Mathematics homework will be set twice a week: Wednesday and Friday

Reading – Ms Piwowarska
Children will soon be bringing home a reading book. It will have a coloured star sticker to match their reading ability. The children can change their book each day between 1pm and 1.30pm. The children will be able to bring this books home but they MUST remember to bring it back to school the following day.

Maths – Mr Brennan This term, we will be looking at: place value, addition and subtraction. Fluency and Mastery

Educational Visits – Miss Hardwick
The children will visit INTECH in Winchester on Tuesday the 10th of January 2017.

Uniform and Belongings – Miss Hardwick
Please make sure that all uniform is named. Book bags- Please only attached small keyrings to identify book bags. We are struggling to fit some in our book bag boxes. Thank you.

PE – Mr Brennan PE takes place on Monday and Friday afternoon. The children will take part in a mixture of indoor and outdoor activities. Expectation for PE Kit- • Red t-shirt • Red shorts • White socks • Trainers or plimsolls (black or white) For colder weather- • Red sweatshirt • Dark tracksuit bottoms. PE kit should all be named and kept in drawstring bag.

Communication – Miss Hardwick
Important letters or messages for the day can be handed straight to the teacher or TA who greets you on the door. If you have anything else you would like to discuss with the teacher please ask to make an appointment via the office.

Pupil Premium Please could you have a look and see if you are signed up to pupil premium funding, if you are entitled to it. This allows the school to have more funding from the government, that will benefit both individual children and the school as a whole. In general, if you are entitled to any benefits this will probably mean your child is a pupil premium children. There is more information on pupil premium on the school website in the information section.
