7 So why weren’t people using The Cross?
“Used more before owners lost interest. Would have used it far more had it been dog-friendly!” “I didn’t use it because it looked very rundown and uncared for. Would use it if it were smartened up.” “If the Cross became a Co-operative I would make a point of using it more often – say once a month.” “Not aware of many events. Assumed it was a “local” with regular customers and never plucked up the courage to go in and introduce ourselves.” “Felt uncomfortable.
