1 High Technology Application in Education
A Need for Policy to Increase Teaching-Learning Integration Xinying Ni

2 Introduction Technology on behalf of education is not the purpose of education but assistant. What it means today is information and communication technologies, and especially content platforms or social media that go beyond merely supporting the study-learning process but rather interactive and fundamentally integrate into the teaching-learning process. But it still has many problems that out of control. The major policy must be undertaken by universities to take advantage of high technology in classrooms and improve the learning experience.

3 Outline High Technology Application Importance and Influence Problems
Policy Support Conclusion

4 High Technology Application
I C T: Information Communication Technology Technological tools and resources that are used to communicate and to create disseminate store and manage information.

5 Importance “Educational technology is the total of systems that designs, realize and evaluate the learning teaching progress, enables to use human power in suitable material and spiritual areas in best way, also enables to increases quality so that productivity and have learning effective.”(Sari.2014,p.4940) Information and Communication Technology can contribute to universal access to education, equity in education, the delivery of quality learning and teaching, teachers’ professional development and more efficient education management, governance and administration.

6 Influence 1.Increases students attention and interest(Muir-Herzig, 2003, p. 124). 2.Increases standardized test scores(Sari, 2014, p. 4941). 3.Increases high-order thinking in students (Marcelo, Yot, & Mayor, 2015, p.118 ). 4.Increases the future success of students in lifeMarcelo, Yot, & Mayor, 2015, p. 118).

7 Problems Financial support
Not sufficient to provide the particular tools to instructor without informing the usage of high technology Lacked of financial and support can be an imagined obstacle to speed up the popularzation of high technology.

8 Problems Technical control Students:Unstabilizing factor
The high technology tools could be wasted without students’ demand, acceptance and proficiency. Students can touch some illegal and dangerous issues. Teachers:Prefer traditional education systems Difficult to acknowledge the high-technology among elder teachers. Systems:Malfunction & maintenance The systems’ fault occurs easily School have to spent more money to employ professional technical maintenance personnel and engineers.

9 Policy Support To help promote and support teachers to acknowledge and integrate high technology. Advocate guidance and training Make law to govern students how to use these high-tech legal and correct Provide financial assistance - employ professional technical maintenance personnel and engineers - Investment in multimedia classroom

10 Conclusion In sum, the major policy initiatives and frameworks must be created by universities to take advantage of high technology in classrooms and improve the learning experience. by taking major high technology initiatives that create a policy of supporting teaching- learning, universities can successful take advantage of high technology and students will benefit in their performance.

11 Questions How to improve the value of high technology tools in higher education? Do you have any ICT experience can share with us? How do you think about its future? What is the impact of the government investment in high technology applications on the future of the education?
