3. Purpose Promote Churchill School Spirit!
Develop and refine dance technique
Acquire an appreciation for dance as an art form
Develop self-discipline
Develop creative thinking skills
Form friendships and gain mentors for the new school year
Focus on character development and social interaction

4. Expectations Willingness to learn and participate
Commitment to attend each class, practice and Pep Squad events
Be prepared for all events
Maintain 70 or higher average
Pay all Pep Squad expenses in a timely manner and participate in fundraising events

5. Important Dates Uniform Sizing/Order Day- April 27th
Uniform Distribution- July 31st (First day of prep camp)
CHS Prep Camp- July 31st-Aug 4th
Pep Squad Pictures- Friday August 4th (tentative)
NEISD Pep Camp- August 7th-8th
Meet the Chargers- August 26th
Football Games/Performances- perform at halftime 2-3 times
Pep Rallies
One Singular Sensation- TBA (last 2 weeks of January)
Competition/Contest- TBA (February)
Dance Celebration- TBA (May)

6. Expenses
Dancewear/Uniform Costs- approx. $460-$500 (3 payments: April, June, August)
NEISD Maintenance Fee- $30 (due in April)
NEISD Pep Squad Camp- $30 (due in April)
Operating Budget Fee- $70 (due in September)
Competition/Contest Fee- $120 (due in November)
Pep Accessories- “Ked” canvas shoes, strapless bra
Game Meals- approx. $50 (optional)
Shirts for various events (Gucci Bowl, Spirit, etc)- cost varies
FUNDRAISE!!!

7. Misc. Info Security of belongings- Lockers!
Class Schedule- 50 min. (5 min. to change at beginning and end of class)
Practices
Generally Mondays and Thursdays after school from 4:20-6:30. ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY
Schedule will change somewhat during competition season
If there are any morning practices, they will generally run from 6:45-8:00am
Tutoring arrangements should NOT conflict with practice time
Communication is vital to the success of this program

Read packets in their entirety and fill out all forms and turn in April 27th
Be sure to fill out online form on my webpage
Mark calendar for team fitting (April 27th)
Bring all necessary forms signed and completed when you arrive to order you uniform April 27th. Girls should wear leggings or hot pants and workout bra to try clothing on in timely manner.
