Formed in 2005 by schools, businesses and interested parties. To improve the co-operation between businesses and schools/colleges. To provide quality and innovative enterprise training to schools and colleges.

Growing Young Dreams Enterprise In Cheshire’s Schools

The Garden Day Work in small teams as ‘garden design businesses’
Students design a garden to meet a local social need Established social enterprises to finance ongoing upkeep of garden Several thousand students have now been involved

Enterprise Awareness Some schools have taken the garden theme and made it a full year project Many schools have installed new gardens in their grounds – over 30 small social enterprises established Students have been introduced to the world of enterprise through horticulture

Going Forward Working with European partners to share our ideas and best practice National interest with Cheshire leading the way Raise student awareness of the sector as a potential career choice
