The International Ocular Inflammation Society (IOIS) and the Uveitis Society of India (USI) extend the invitation to take part in the Ocular Inflammation Congress organized by IOIS and hosted by USI at an exotic beach resort in Goa, India from November 13th to 16th, 2011. It will be a unique gathering of all major international and national ocular inflammation societies with their world-renowned members as active participating delegates. The program committee will be formulating robust scientific sessions, covering intraocular and extraocular inflammatory disorders, including recent advances in clinical and surgical treatment of recalcitrant ocular inflammations, evolving infectious uveitis entities, as well as modern understanding of the underlying pathogenesis of disorders such as age-related macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. Moreover the program will include surgical interventions in uveitis complications such as secondary cataract, glaucoma, retinal changes and others. Goa has international acclaimed resorts with all the modern amenities enriched with culture and wonderful hospitality and offers all the facilities required for holding the international congress. Historical ambience and cultural mix of Indian and Portuguese add to attractiveness of Goa as the best destination in India. Over 500 delegates from Europe, North and South America, Japan, Asia and Asia-Pacific region will be participating in the congress. This congress will offer an unparallel opportunity of maximum interaction and quality exposure to the internationally recognized leaders in the field of ocular inflammation and infections.
