Big new „surprise“:
TRUMPF is supplying since a while a new option of the TruLaser 1030 with pallet changer and light curtain without informing Schmalz in advance.
Problem:
Columns of the light curtain are 400 mm taller than the pallet changer which will cause a collision with VacuMaster and sheet metal (see pictures follow)

What has to be done in future:
In any case it must be clarified with end customer which options he will get with his Trulaser 1030 (see overview on page 2).
If customer gets a pallet changer (according to TRUPMF its 85% of all cases) please check if the pallet changer comes with a light curtain.

Which option does Schmalz have:
Option 1: loading package with 500 mm taller crane column ATTENTION: check available room height additional cost: 160,00 € list (for 250 kg and 500 kg package).
Option 2: Remove the rear columns of the light curtain 1 m backwards (see sketch next page). Disadvantage: Protected area arround the machine which can not be entered will become larger.
