MULTIFUNCTIONAL CONTAINER TERMINAL IN THE FREE ZONE OF THE PORT OF MUUGA AS Muuga CT was founded in 1998 just before the construction of the new container terminal in the Port of Muuga. Together with the construction of the new terminal company Ferry Terminal (established in 1992) continued to increase volumes of handling of containers and Ro-Ro cargoes in the Port of Muuga. After completion of construction works in 2001 Ferry Terminal and Muuga CT formed a stevedore company AS MUUGA CONTAINER TERMINAL

3 TODAY Today the stevedore company AS Muuga CT employs 128 people
The cargo turnover in 2003 was equal to 1.43 million tons of cargo, including 94.8 thousand TEU of containers The estimated cargo turnover for 2004 is 1.6 million tons of cargo, Including thousand TEU of containers The first stage of the terminal allows to handle 2 million tons of goods per year, Including 150 thousand TEU of containers

8 TERMINAL DATA Storage areas 11.5 ha (it is intended to be doubled in the future) In 2003 we have built new warehouse with the area of 4000 sq.m. Reefer containers depot for 144 units (this capacity can be doubled if necessary) Own railway tracks for 25 wagons Two quays of 200 m each with 20 m and 28 m ramps Permissible draft m and 12.0 m

9 AS MUUGA CT IS A MEMBER OF THE ASSOSIATION OF ESTONIAN INTERNATIONAL ROAD CARRIERS (ERAA)
This enables to perform prompt delivery of our customers goods using our trucks and participate in the work of international (Estonia - Russia; Estonia - Belarus) commissions concerning the development of interstate motor transport.

10 FIRM CONTACTS WITH THE ESTONIAN RAILWAYS
Firm contacts with the Estonian Railways and availability of own access tracks enable us to perform prompt and high quality handling of the rail vehicles and also influence the tariffs policy and participate in the development and introduction of new projects, e.g., introduction of container block trains
