2 Sec 1: Salary A summary of the job description & requirements/experience (salary.com) The bell curve (salary.com)/box graph (bls.gov) showing where your salary will fall. Remember, you will be in the 1st 10% because you are just entering the workforce. A calculation of your “take home” monthly income. Divide your annual income by 12. Multiply that figure by .80. Include that figure here & on your budget calculation sheet.

Company provider A description of the services you are receiving Monthly cost You MUST have cable; the other 2 are optional

6 Cell Phone Company provider Description of your plan and the services it includes (minutes, texts, internet, etc.) Monthly cost

7 Sec 3: Transportation

8 Car Loan Payment Print the True Market Value Pricing page. You are using the TMV price for your car’s cost. Include a picture of your automobile. (edmunds.com) Show the calculation of your car’s TMV price plus taxes, fees. (TMV price x .07, then add that number to the TMV price) Print the auto loan calculator sheet once you have calculated your monthly payment. (bankrate.com) You will enter this figure on your budget calculation sheet. Print the amortization schedule of all your payments. (bankrate.com) Indicate the total cost of the car by adding the total interest paid (last box of the amortization schedule) to the cost of the car.

12 Entertainment Typed copy of the Entertainment Calculation Sheet You must have at least 5 different entertainment expenses (gym membership, tanning, movies, clubs, vacations, etc.) If you decide to purchase an item (TV, Playstation, etc.), you must get the total cost and divide by 12

13 Other Variable Expenses
On one sheet of paper, include the following estimated expenses: Eating out (places & est. cost of meals) Clothing (stores & items) Sundries (items) Savings calculation (t.h. income x .05)
