North Korean Religions
Atheist- no religion Buddhism- practiced under the auspices of the official Korean Buddhist Federation, Yu Yong-sun Korean Shamanism- oldest religion in Korea still practiced; influenced by the arrival of Buddhism and Confucianism Cheondoism- stresses the divine nature of all people; the only religion in North Korea which has a corresponding party representing it

South Korea South Korea religions are Christian 31.6%(Protestant 24%, Roman Catholic 7.6%), Buddhist 24.2%, other or unknown 0.9%, none 43.3% South Korea doesn’t have a official religion. South Korea has freedom to practice religion.

South Korean Religions
Christianity believes that Jesus died for them and that he will rise again. Protestants split from the Catholic church. Presbyterians, Catholics, Methodist, and Baptist are largest denominations. Buddhism is a nontheistic religion under the teachings of Siddhartha Gautama. Principles are meditation and enlightenment. Most Buddhist are under the Jogye Order.
