Type 1: Capture Ideas Type One writing gets ideas on paper—brainstorming. Type One is timed and requires a minimum number of items or lines. Questions and/or guesses are permitted. Evaluated with a check (√) or minus (-). One Draft

Type 1: Setup At the top of your paper, put the date and Type 1
On the next line, list or write the ideas you have about the question. When time runs out, pencils down, hands up...remember, NO CHEATING!!!

Your teacher will come around and +/- your paper once time is up as a check. Remember, you either do type one or you don’t. Try your best!!!

Type 1: Practice You will have 62 seconds to list 4 places STORIES can be found. Remember to set up your paper correctly!

Type 2: Respond Correctly
Type Two writing shows that the writer knows something about the topic or has thought about the topic. It is a correct answer to a specific question, graded as a quiz. One draft.

Type 2: Setup At the top of your paper, put the date--Type 2--your name Skip a space and answer the question to the best of your ability. Remember, type 2 is a quiz grade!

Remember, you will turn Type 2’s into your teacher for grading. Type 2 writings count as a quiz grade, and are used to show your knowledge, so do your best!

Type 2: Practice In 3 lines, explain why STORIES are important to humans. 77 seconds. Remember, to get full credit, you must set up your paper correctly! When you are finished, hold your paper up, and I will collect it.
