WHAT IS A FIVE YEAR FORECAST?
The five-year forecast is a management tool used to identify trends in the financial picture of the school district. It is based on historical trends and assumptions about the future. A line by line document on how to read the five year forecast is available on the District’s website on the Treasurer’s page.

FILING REQUIREMENTS A five-year forecast is required of all local school districts. The forecast requires three years of historical data, five years of projections and a summary of key assumptions. The forecast must be approved by the local board of education. The forecast must be submitted electronically to the ODE by October 31st and updated between April 1st and May 31st.
