2. The Bahamas
The Bahamas, officially Commonwealth of the Bahamas is an English speaking, democratic and independent nation in the Atlantic Ocean, consisting of some 700 islands and over 2500 cays. An island country, that gained its independence from Great Britain in The capital city is Nassau, on New Providence Island. (Bahamian dollars = US dollars)
Most of the Bahamian island and cays are situated in an area called Bahama Bank and Great Bahama Bank. This Banks form a shallow sea, spreads on thousands of sq miles, which most of it are very shallow (average depth runs about 9 ft) , which keeping the sea calm and flat at all times.
