Pain was equally related to stress across genders
The cross-sectional study was approved by The Regional Committee for Medical Research Ethics and in line with the Declaration of Helsinki.
The study sample comprised 422 adolescents
from 17 public schools in Trondheim, age 15 and 16 years; 218 females and 204 males. The participation in the survey was volunteer and anonymous.
