3. Workshop in Tbilisi. October, 2016
Georgian Association for Cognitive and Behavioral Therapy since 2014 has been joined to European Association of Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (EABCT).
In 2015 GACBT applied for the project ‘Workshops on psychotherapeutic approaches for psychiatric disorders‘, asking grant the workshops on the issues, that are omitted in the GACBT training program (hence there is no available appropriate CBT trainer in Georgia):
Dialectical Behaviour Therapy with Borderline Personality;
Eating disorders

4. Workshop in Tbilisi. October, 2016
EABCT board decide to give an opportunity for that and granted the project (but only for DBT-trainer, but not for ED- trainers, asking to present more detailed information about them).

5. Workshop in Tbilisi. October, 2016
The participants who attended the workshop were:
GABCT members and the CBT-educational course students (N=32)
In the framework of the training , also the trainer carried out the supervision workshop for the practiced CBT-specialists (N=18)

6. Workshop in Tbilisi. October, 2016
Description:
Day-one (28/10/’16): The main practical skills of DB-therapist
Day-two (29/10/’16): DB-modules
Day-three (30/10/’16): Supervision workshop: the participants presented 4 cases:
In holistic model;
Functional analysis;
Classical and operant models.

The main result of this workshop was the increased growing towards CBT and DBT between specialist and students.
GACBT planned for 2017 year the next step for close collaboration with EABCT
