9. Complete Subject
Consists of the simple subject and all the words that describe it.

10. Complete Subject
The small, shaggy dog barked loudly.

11. Complete Predicate
Includes all words that are attached to the verb or the action.
A verb or verb phrase plus all the words that give more information about it.

12. Complete Predicate
The boy carried his books slowly down the street.

13. Compound Subject
Two or more subjects joined by a coordinating conjunction (and, but, or, nor, yet) form a compound subject.
