2
Defintion of Commutative Property
Commutative property is one of the basic properties of numbers. The word ‘’Commute’’ exchange’’ or ‘’swap over’’ Commutative property states that numbers can be added or multiplied in any order.
3
Examples of Commutative Property
The Commutative Property states that order does not matter. Multiplication and Addition are Commutative. Like for an example, = or in multiplication, 3 x 5 = 5 x 3 4 x 2 = 2 + 5 = 12 x 13 = 9 + 8 = 3 x 9 = 2 x 4 5 + 2 13 x 12 8 + 9 9 x 3

Practice slide Problems
When you are working with commutative property and if you are doing addition like for an example let's practice our commutative property problems. 9+8= 4+6= 7+9= 2+9= 1+3= Practice slide Problems
5
Solution slide Problems
When you are working with commutative property and if you are doing addition like for an example let's practice our commutative property problems. 9+8= 4+6= 7+9= 3+1= 2+9= Solution slide 8+9 6+4 Problems 9+7 1+3 9+2
