OBJECTIVE PARTICIPANTS WILL BE ABLE TO:
IDENTIFY THE MAJOR CROP INSECTS THAT AFFECT THE ECONOMIC OUTCOME OF VARIOUS CROPS.

INSECTS-FRIENDS OR FOES?
THERE ARE APPROXIMATELY 1 MILLION KNOWN INSECTS. INSECTS REPRODUCE & MULTIPLY FASTER THAN ANY OTHER ANIMAL. NEARLY EVERY PLANT OR FOOD PRODUCT IS EATEN BY SOME TYPE OF INSECT. LOSSES ARE ESTIMATED AT MILLIONS OF DOLLARS.
