Two parts to this exercise- Bring Qi to your Tan Tien Circulate Qi through the Ren and Du Channels

Technique Find a place to sit comfortably Place hands in lap (can touch tan tien to help remind you) Clear your mind and regulate your breathing Relax your whole body Inhale and exhale through the nose Once you feel that your breath is regulated, inhale to bring good Qi into your body. With each exhale use your minds eye to push that Qi into your Tan Tien. Continue until you feel that your tan tien is heavy, warm, or filled with Qi

Technique Form the qi in your tan tien into a ball Spin the ball in your tan tien When you are ready push the qi ball from your tan tien to the base of your spine Circulate through the Ren and Du Continue to circulate until practice is complete Place Qi ball back in tan tien. Watch the ball get bigger then watch the ball get smaller and smaller, turning 36 times, until you can’t see it. Men count to 70, women count to 60. Then open eyes.
