Standards
Solve equations and inequalities involving absolute values.
Solve multistep problems, including word problems, and linear equations and inequalities in one variable.
Use the rules for exponents
Graph linear equations and compute the x- and y-intercepts.
Understand the concepts of parallel and perpendicular lines and how the concepts are related.
Solve systems of linear equations in two variables algebraically and graphically.
Add, subtract, multiply, and divide monomials and polynomials.
Apply basic factoring techniques to second- and third degree polynomials.
Understand the concepts of relations and functions.
Use the quadratic formula to find the roots of a second-degree polynomial.
Graph quadratic functions.
