Dear Parents and Students, Welcome back to another exciting and fun filled year at Pathshala. With your support we had a successful Pathshala year, full of hands on learning. We look forward to working together for another successful session of dynamic teaching and learning of our Jain values and philosophy. Thank you for your continued support of sponsoring lunch on Pathshala day. For those of you who are interested in sponsoring lunch on Pathshala Sundays, please Rameshbhai Varia. Outlined below is important information regarding schedules, procedures for lates and absents, class levels, Pathshala books and Pathshala bag. Also please fill out the registration form on JSOT web site( jsotcanada.org) or bring the attached Registration form on Sunday 28 October 2012 at the Jain Centre between 10 am and 10.30am.

3 Rules and Responsibilities:
Parents are not allowed to sit in the classroom; however parents of children in the Rookies and Level 1 classes are requested to stay in the building during Pathshala Sessions. To ensure maximum learning, full attendance is expected. Pathshala teachers spend considerable time to prepare for the classes; students’ absence disrupts the planned curriculum for the entire class and especially for your child. Please your Child’s teacher in advance , if you know in advance that your child will be absent. Choir commences at 10:00am sharp and classes begin at 10:45 am sharp. Please ensure that your child is in class/choir on time. Students who are late disturb the class and effect their learning since make up time or assignments will not be available. Please check all Pathshala related s on a regular basis. For the upper levels, each student must complete all homework assignments and bring it to class. All students are expected to bring a folder, pencils, pens etc. Although optional, it is a good idea to bring crayons, pencil crayons etc.
