TIS for Parts provides: Genuine Parts Information STARLIFT Information Downloads All of the information is located in a single website.

3 Instructions for Gaining Access to TMHU Technical Information Systems
Some of your staff members may already have access to the new TMHU Technical Information System. Your staff may fall into one of the following categories: If your staff already has a User Id and password for any of the following systems, he or she can use the same User Id and password to access the new system for Parts also: Dealer Directory, TSDR, Lost Order, Capacity Quote/Nameplate, BMIS If your staff already had a record in your Dealer Portal Staff master, a new User Id and Password has been automatically setup for him/her in the following manner: User Id (i.e. User Name): First Initial + Last name. E.g. Id for John Smith will be Jsmith. Password: Same as his/her tmhutraining.com’s password If a record does not exists for your staff in your Dealer Portal’s Staff master, please: Add a record for him/her in your Dealer Portal’s Staff master, Have your staff call the Help Desk ( ) and request an Id for the “TMHU Technical Information System for Parts”. If your staff encounters any system or user id related issues, please have him/her contact the Help Desk at

4 Login The TMHU TIS application can be accessed using either of the following: From tiedealers.com -> choose TMHU TIS From Dealer Portal Welcome page -> choose Dealer Applications -> choose TMHU TIS The application can also be found at

7 Home After signing in, the user will be directed to the home page as illustrated below. The user can return to the home page at anytime by clicking on the Home link. On the home page there are 3 General Item selections: Warranty, Service and Parts

8 Parts Provides information for Parts Managers and Parts Department Associates. In this section you will be able to search and obtain the latest Policy and Procedures, Parts Bulletins, Parts Notes MSDS, Toyota Genuine and Raymond user parts Catalogs, STARLIFT Vital Care and Marketing Information. You can also download any required forms that are needed for parts activities. For fewer results, select the check box that corresponds to the desired Document Category. However this is not required if the correct Document category is unknown.

9 Search Function The Keyword search explores the title and the entire body of each document. This is not case sensitive. The Model field narrows results to only the specific model. Again, this is not case sensitive. Please note: “7FG” would return many more results than “7FGU25” For fewer results, select the check box that corresponds to the desired Document Category. If no check boxes are selected, all of the Document Categories will be searched.

10 Parts Search Function: The example below exhibits a search performed using keyword “Smart Alarm” and truck model “7FBCU25”. Placing the green check in the ‘Bulletins’ box means the search will only look in the Bulletins Category. Results: 1T ~ 5.5T 4-Wheel Electric Smart Alarm Kit

11 Opening a Document A properly executed search function returns a list of results. To open the document, left-click on the Adobe icon under the “Download” column.

Once a document is open, you can scan the document for specific phrases. Left click ‘Search’ A window will open to the left of the document

Type the word you want to find And then press the ‘Search’ icon

Every instance of the word or phrase will be located within the document.

16 Adobe Acrobat Adobe is the preferred format for all of the documents. There is a link at the bottom of the home page to Adobe. The Adobe software can be downloaded for FREE from the website. It is recommended to upgrade to Adobe Reader version 6.0.1

18 Usage The “Home” button takes user back to the TIS Home Page
Be sure to click on “SignOut” when completed with the session
