Coldbox DCS The main features are: Two AC/DC power supply: one 24 VDC for general DCS controller, fan on/off, pressure sensor power supply and a 12VDC (adjustable) power supply for the heaters. Both AC/DC power supplies are powered by 220Vac detector side. DCS controller : Siemens S (CPU1511) Supplier link The PT100 either for the coldbox either for heaters are read by the analogue input Siemens with a accuracy +/- 0.1C The heater ON/OFF power and fan ON/OFF are controlled by a digital output connected to an solid state isolated relay, Phoenix Contact manufacturer link: relay Each individual heater or fan heater are individually fuse protected. The temperature regulation is programmed inside the DCS controller, to be defined but we have already a default sequence. The controller is connected to PC through Ethernet with the CERN WINCC supervisor software and with CERN UNICOS framework installed On detector ground
