7. Spend the night at Manatee Springs
State Park

8. Snorkel in Manatee Springs

9. Hike to the Suwannee
River, see the Sturgeon jump
Hike to Suwannee River

10. Take a boat to Seahorse Key Island

11. Spend 3 nights in this
light house built in 1854

12. Spend three days on the island

13. Going trawling for fish

14. Work on a service project

15. Study marine life

16. Learn about the history of the place

17. Return to Cedar Key

18. Lunch at an archaeological site:
Shell Mound at Lower Suwannee

19. Spend 2 nights at
Big Lagoon State Park

20. Watch the Blue Angels practice & meet the pilots

21. Lunch at the Pensacola Light House

22. Visit the Naval Aviation Museum

23. Work on the
Oceanography Merit Badge

24. We will sleep in tents on the way there and back
We will sleep in bunk beds on the island
We will cook all our own meals
We will be gone a whole week
We will travel a total of 1,250 miles
You have to be able to swim
You have to bring your own snorkel
Parents are encouraged to come
