Sale Options: Show and Deliver Show and Sell
Recruit some moms with mini vans to take several Scouts to canvas rural areas that are untapped areas Take a cart or wagon with product and canvas your local neighborhood Go to local mom/pop stores or markets and see if they’ll support a sale Show and Sell Store front sells with shifts and times for every Scout to participate Display photos from unit events to let potential customers see what they are supporting Do knot tying skills or some achievement work in order to highlight Scouting while also entertaining the boys Show and Sell is the easiest way because it’s all done in one stop. Product on hand is sold, money collected and product given = completion! There is not an additional distribution day, meaning no additional transportation needed. No secondary visits to the customers to collect monies and deliver product.

Units, Do you have Scouts that don’t participate in the sale
Units, Do you have Scouts that don’t participate in the sale? Do you financially support those Scouts? Implement Show and Sell and make it a requirement to attend at last two of the six scheduled Show and Sells. Make them contribute to the success and financial stability of the unit. It’s not right for the top selling Scouts to carry those Scouts that do not participate with so many opportunities to sell: Show and Sell, Show and Deliver, Take Order and Online.
