12. Considerations Maharadroid hasn’t really “taken off” as it might have
Students see it as “yet another place that I have put my files” (cloud services plugin?)
Students don’t readily appreciate “different presentations for different audiences”
Mahara is seen as a bit clunky, but this is because (a) different on-screen design/interface to facebook and (b) the inherent “purpose” and “logic” of how mahara does things takes time to learn
Task as a whole doesn’t seem to register with a “wow factor”
Employment (and registration) related purposes not fully embraced
